Carnitas question?!
Carnitas question?
Besides tortillas and salsa, what other sides can you mix carnitas with? Please help with some suggestions. Thanks :)

Make carnitas tortas (sandwiches), they're yummy!
Get some bolillos ("bo LEE yos"), which are French rolls. Slice them lengthwise, and put mashed beans on one side, mayo on the other. Put the carnitas on one bread, top with avocado, cilantro, onion and lettuce. If you want, add some tomatoes. (I can't remember if I've eaten carnitas with tomatoes, but if you want 'em, add 'em. If you do, sprinkle them with salt to make them taste better.) Add chile to taste, but it's not necessary. Now, put the sandwich together and ENJOY!
Put them in rice. Put them in beans and warm it up to "marry" the flavors. You can even chop it finely and stuff some wonton wrappers with them. Mix them into hash browns.
