Can I use this?

I opened a jar of spaghetti sauce two weeks ago. It's been the
fridge for two weeks and I found mold on the lid. The
sauce looks ok. Would it hurt to eat this?

Thanks for all your answers. I dumped it because I didn't want my grandkids eating it.
There was mold only on the inside of the lid.
You're right it wasn't that expensive. Thanks again.

throw it out!!You are only suppose to keep an open jar of sauce for 4 days max!!
