Does anyone know how to make those hong kong style street waffles?

i think they're called Gei Dan Jai in chinese, they're sort of like waffles except balls and crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside and sweeter. theres a picture http://chaxiubao.typepad.com/chaxiubao/2...
on that website and i was just curious if anyone knew the recipe or what exactly is in them...i know theyre similar to regular waffles but how!!??! thanks
