California rolls are widely popular because they are so mild tasting - not any strong flavors. For nigiri sushi, Salmon and Tuna are two good choices to try. If you like spicy, try some spicy tuna rolls - yum! Unagi - eel - is a little stronger flavored so you may want to build up to that, as are some of the other fish. With rolls, it really depends on your personal taste...you will have to try a few that contain things that you like!
