Where can I find Chinese Garlic?!

Question:

Where can I find Chinese Garlic?

What kind of stores would be likely to sell these?

Answers:

In the USA it's becoming difficult not to get Chinese garlic!! So you're probably already eating, and if you go to restaurants you are almost always eating it. I like locally grown garlic, but I am not above buying the Chinese version - although it has a higher water content, thus a bit milder. The most identifiable Chinese garlic comes in those mesh 'socks', five to a 'sock' -- a real bargain, I have seen it in all sorts of supermarkets from $1 to $2 per 'sock'.
