Is spam, the gelatinous canned meat product, considered Kosher?!

Question:

Is spam, the gelatinous canned meat product, considered Kosher?

what if you fry it and then put some cheese on it on a sandwich?

Answers:

Nope--Spam has pork in it--a big no no for Jewish people. If you want a kosher processed meat product, go for Hebrew National Hot Dogs. They're all beef and Kosher.

Shalom!
