Typical British food?

what kind of food do you guys eat in England, I'll be going there in a couple of weeks and I heard that the food there is not that good, and I want to know famouse dishes you guys eat over there

Contrary to your beliefs the food in the UK is very good, I think its on par with most countries,if not all. But even here the food differs as to whether you live in the North, East, South, or West. I'm a Southerner (London) so I will recommend to you Jellied Eels, or Pie Mash & Liquor. There are many fine Restaurants but I think you will find these can be quite expensive.
Steak pudding,Fish & Chips, Roast Beef & Yorkshire Pudding etc so all I can say is ENJOY.
PS. You dont get gravy on your sandwiches. I guess your from the U.S.A so you`ll know what I mean. lol
