Is Chinese food in America really bad for you? Is it healthier in China or is this a myth?!

Question:

Is Chinese food in America really bad for you? Is it healthier in China or is this a myth?

Answers:

Not really bad for you but possibly not the best. I've noticed a lot of American Chinese food is deep fat fried & loaded with msg...

In China, there's of course the really nice restaurants that serves excellent food, fresh steamed sea food & chinese veggies. There's also the banquet restaurants that serve really special meals.

Then there are the street stall, which do greasy but very tasty stir-frys loaded with msg & cheap cuts of meat at very affordable price.

The mediocre restaurants are really quite bad, like the cheap version of a banquet...

It's just my opinion and I may have missed some good medium priced restaurants in China.

I'll say the average American Chinese food is far better then the mediocre restaurants in China but the fancy ones are no where close to banquet restaurants.
