How do you pronounce Pinot Grigio?!

Question:

How do you pronounce Pinot Grigio?

I was told it's pronounced PEE-NOE GREE-JOE (short) because the first part is french and the other part is italian. But most people say PEE-NOE GREE-GEE-O, can anyone tell me please?

Thanks!

Answers:

PEE-NOE GREE-JOE is the right one, and for the right reasons: "Pinot" is French ("t" at the end of a word is mute), "Grigio" is Italian.
(in Italian "g" when followed by "i" or "e" have the English "j" sound, otherwise, when followed by "a", "o", "u", "h" or a consonant, the sound is like English "g"; then, if the "i" is followed by another vowels, "i" is mute)
