I tasted the sauce and it was fine, but now it is in the over for 45 minutes... will it get spicier as it cooks? if so, what can i do about that- if anything. thank you!!!!

Answers:

Adding more curry powder will only accentuate the taste of the curry and makes it thicker. Dont fret, Just add a little more water and taste it. If you find it to be spicy, you can add a couple of tomotoes to tone down the spicyness without compromising the taste...masalas (curry powder)are usually very mild.

Cooking it longer will ensure that the masala gets cooked - since all the ingredients are quite raw. It also helps the meat/ vegetables to absorb the essence. And it'll thicken as it cooks longer!

Adding milk or cream will make the curry taste bland. A little more water and couple of tomatoes will just do the trick. Taste the curry as and when to tamper it according to your desired taste.
