Italians and Olive Garden?
Do you think Italians go to eat there or do you think most of them believe that it is non-authentic Italian food? Personally I think it is good food but I have also had much better Italian food. Answers from Italians would be nice!

As I said other times :) you may love or hate Olive Garden, that's a matter of personal taste, but believe me Olive Garden food is just a very distant relative of true Italian food. Still, this is true for the vast majority of any kind of place who pretend to be "Italian" even if runned by people of Italian descent.
It's more true you can find real Italian cookery on real Italian family-owned restaurants, but there are more chance they can represent Italian *regional* food; Every part of Italy do have their own traditions, altough some dish are in fact universal.
Just to spotlight one of many stereotypes: you don't find much garlic in Italian food made in Italy; I heard recently CNN reported this "shoking news"... :-D
