Japanese soup?!

Japanese soup?

At a japanese restaurant called Kampai, they serve a soup with your dinner and it is really goood!!! It has mushrooms in it, and we asked them what kind of soup it was, and they said it was an onion soup. Does anyone know where i could buy, or how to make this soup?

i think these are different versions of japanese onion soup :) some easier and some harder to make.
