Is Pei Mei still known in China?!

Is Pei Mei still known in China?

My first Chinese cook book was a 3 volume set by Pei Mei from the 1960s. It is a very handsome set and very good for cooking from. She is very good. But she must be in her 70s or 80s if she is even still alive. Is anyone familiar with her?
