Why do we get ringsting after a curry?!

Question:

Why do we get ringsting after a curry?

Answers:

After all the Einsteins have answered I will tell you the truth, I am a former chef and a Curry Nut, some of the spices especially chilis, have either the seeds or volitile oils that still remain in your system entirely, and as the pass through your bowel the blend with the acids and when the leave the sphinector, the tissue is very sensitive and that is why it burns as your so poeticly put it.

Try eating a dairy based product or drinking a fruit juice or yougart drink with your curry, this lessen the burn going in, coming out is another story.
