Lox/Gravlax older than four days..?
So according to the package, you're supposed to dispose of lox/gravlax four days after you opened it. Well it's been four days and I did not spend eight bucks on this stuff to throw it away when there's still more. So...I ate some, with a salad. Should I be concerned or is this stuff like sushi, where you can get sick from eating it old?

The reason fish was smoked in the distant past was to increase the length of time you could keep it before refrigeration. As you kept yours in the fridge, i guess, i'm sure you will be fine.
Sushi is generally made from raw fresh fish, which is a much more dangerous proposition. It's a very bad idea to eat sushi when it's not completely fresh.
