Halal chicken nuggets?!

Question:

Halal chicken nuggets?

Because of the very large Muslim population, McDonald's in Dearborn, MI has introduced Halal chicken nuggets.

Now, I'm a Christian, so I don't know much about Islamic food laws... but I'm wondering.

What is done to the chicken nuggets to make them Halal? Do they at least make them healthier?

Well, I'm doing some research on Islamic practices, and came across Halal chicken nuggets in Dearborn.

I live near that area, and I'm also terribly afraid of McDonald's chicken nuggets. So, I was just wondering if they're any better or not, just in case I was in the area...

But besides that, plain curiosity takes its toll, too.

Answers:

Halal chicken means that they were killed in an Islamic manner, which means their necks were wringed, or they werent blugoned to death.
Their necks were cut with a very sharp knife to insure a quick death, while reciting "Bismillah" in the name of Allah
