How serious would it be if I eat expired wasabi?!


Question:

How serious would it be if I eat expired wasabi?

I have this tube of wasabi, japanese import, that I bought a long time ago. I'm not sure if it has expired because there is no date on the packaging. How bad would it be if I ate it and it's expired? I'm craving for sashimi right now.


Answers:

I use my *old one* without any problems but I keep mine in the fridge with the lid on.
Unless you are a real gourmet of course. I feel it just wastes weaker (but still strong!!).

Mine is maybe 5 years old....
