What is the most unusual food you've ever eaten?!

Question:

What is the most unusual food you've ever eaten?

There is a show on the travel channel about a guy who goes all over the world and eats the most disgusting of foods all over the planet, would you eat fried bumblebees, or goats brains,or pork in salt that's been sitting on a shelf for two months?

Answers:

The Philippines is home to numerous exotic dishes. Here's a list of what I've tried:

- balut (the soup's nice, but I feel sorry for the hairy chick)
- sea cucumber (tried it in a Chinese resto - can't really describe it, but it's soft and a little slippery)
- raw anchovies, called 'kilawin' (pickled in vinegar, onions and ginger - pretty good!)
- a soup called 'papaitan' (cow innards cooked in cow's bile to give it a slightly bitter taste)
- isaw (barbecued chicken or pork intestine)
- dinugguan (pork stew cooked in pig's blood)

I'll go for the salted pork - I'm sure it's cured. Brain's too high in cholesterol and bees are too crunchy ;)
