Answers:

'Tapas' are as stated a type of 'filler' before the main eveing meal (taken around 10.00pm!) In many bars you will see them lying tantalizingly in dishes under a glass counter. Ensaladilla (pronounced 'ensaladiya') is generally potatoes and mayonnaisse. You will find roast red peppers, marinated artichokes, prawns in garlic, fried anchovies, Spanish ometlette (made with potatoes & onion), mushrooms in lemony marinade... The list is endless according to which region you're in. Try them. You can eat loads and fill up or have a few while sampling a glass of wine or a coffee.
