White dipping sauce for vegetable samosa?
I Went to a restaurant called tandoori and ordered the vegetable samosa. WOW. But they had this white colored dipping sauce that totally made the dish! What is this sauce made of??? I'd like to make it myself!

the sauce also had a very light greenish tint to it. Raita is actually an Indian salad usually made with yogurt (but sometimes without). Raitas can be made from anything: cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, carrots, radishes, cabbage....
What you most likely had was a yogurt based "chutney", the green tint was most likely from cilantro or mint (or both).
Although not a traditional accompaniment to samosas, it's is delicious. It's just a good quality yogurt, hand beaten with some spices (red chili powder or cumin), a splash of lemon juice and some finely chopped mint or cilantro. Maybe some finely minced fresh green chilies if it had a kick.
In India, samosas are traditionally eaten with a tamarind chutney (imli), a green chutney (cilantro or mint) or a spicy tomato sauce. the sauce is called Raita. It is a yogurt sauce with garlic,spices, and herbs.
Raita sauce is very similar to a sauce in the Meditterranean cuisine. which is a staple in Greek dishes. The greek version is called Ztaziki Sauce and is made with chunks of cucumber. I love both these dips but the Greek Ztaziki is even tastier than the Indian sauce. Trader Joes and Costco make great already made sauces like these and if you want, it is easy to make from scratch.
