Question:

What are the differences between porterhouse and ribeye steaks?

http://www.foodsubs.com/meatbeefloin.htm... size and the bone ro The Porterhouse and Ribeye steaks come from different parts of the loin (with the T-bone in between them). Porterhouse steaks are usually much larger (at least in diameter) than ribeyes. I like ribeyes better myself as they cook much more evenly. Porterhouses have a section of very tender meat that tends to overcook before the tougher (though still very tender) section cooks.
