I seem to be the only sicko that loves tofu--I lived in Korea and enjoyed fried tofu. Anyone know how to make?!

This one is probably my favorite:
http://vegetarian.about.com/od/maindishe... cut the tofu about 3/4 of an inch then dip it in liquid amino's and yeast then fry it! I'm a vegetarian (not a hippie)! I too love tofu. It's one of the best substitue for protein. I live in Houston TX and we have tofu specialty shop. They have all kinds of tofu freshly made every day. Man if you can see this place, you'll die and go to heaven. I think they don't use much chemical to keep it long, it spoil quickly if you don't use it soon. No you're not, I fried some up this afternoon! I brown my tofu and then add chopped garlic (I don't do the garlic first because it'll burn). Then I add a soy sauce/sugar mixture and voila! - teriyaki tofu! omg i love tofu and im korean lol!
ok so anyways, just go to the grocery store, an asian one will be best, and buy a pack of firm tofu. the soft one will do no good for frying.
then cut it how u want and just fry it with some cooking oil in a pan. leave it on its side for a while, it can take a bit to get brown I cut the tofu into thin rectangles, dip in corn starch and fry. I eat them with a variety of things, the one constant being shoyu. Green onions, grated kohlrabi, ginger, bonito -- it's all good. I eat tofu raw or boiled or any ol' way.
