What is a good use for 'Lemon Sauce'?!
What is a good use for 'Lemon Sauce'?
A company named Koon Chun Sauce Factory based in Hong Kong makes a lemon sauce that is rather solid looking in its jar. What can be done with it? The label says it contains sugar, lemon, vinegar, and salt. I bought it from an Asian market here thinking that sooner or later a recipe would call for it. It's later and no recipe has come up. Any suggestions?
Answers: Here is the website for the factory, they have recipes on the site: http://www.koonchun.com.hk/home.html... I think it could be used for lemon chicken. Fry some chicken strips and drizzle the lemon sauce over the chicken. Eat immediately. There's Lemon Chicken (like Orange Chicken). Deep fried battered nuggets tossed with lemon sauce.

I have seen it used as a dipping sauce for fried wontons & eggrolls also Lemon sauce is generally used warm on desserts or bread and butter pudding, but you can use it as an accent in many dishes. You can use it on fish, chicken, asparagus ...... the list is endless. Just don't use too much otherwise you will overpower the the main food. Your sauce should substitue for the Chinese Lemon Sauce in this recipe.
