What is your opinion on Levi's REGGAE REGGAE SAUCE????????!

Question:

What is your opinion on Levi's REGGAE REGGAE SAUCE????????

after watching Levi on the Dragons den, i must admit i got the most strange craving for a sauce i have never tried before.

i waited and waited for this sauce to come onto the shelfs and when it finally did i went man hunting for it.. until 2weeks ago when i finally found it.

it must have been around 6months, maybe even longer that iv waited for this sauce. and by this time my brain had concluded the great taste this sauce would have..
but very much to my disappointment, it doesnt

im eating this sauce NOW actually, which i marinated on my oven cooked chicken for 2hours..and it tastes of nothing..

it actually tastes of nothing!.. i would describe it as tasting like watered down bbq sauce.. haha.. im just in dismay.

was my expectations of the sauce just too sky high?
or did i just use the sauce wrongly?

whats did you think of the sauce when you first tried it?

haha.. yeah sauce hunt is what i meant! It's just an expensive, spicy barbecue sauce, but quite nice all the same. However, I was dismayed about its life after opening. I believe it was just a few days or perhaps a couple of weeks before it has to be discarded. This isn't the sort of sauce that you can use every night and polish off in a couple of weeks. At least it shows, I suppose, that it isn't overloaded with preservatives. I think it will disappear without trace after a year or so. Not tried it at all and not particularly bothered.

I'm all in favour of the good old Tabasco.

It's EXCELLENT..........XXX i love his sauce

have you seen on dragons den when he goes
"my name is levi roots"
"what's your real name" asks dragon man
"keith"

lol that was just funny I marinated chicken cutlets in it. Then put on the barbaque and it was delicious. Surely you went sauce hunting, not man hunting? y not use it like tomato sauce u might of lost the flavour through cooking I used it as a dipping sauce on the side of my plate in the same way as I'd use tomato ketchup or branston pickle. This way you will get the full flavour. (If you use it to cook you will not get the full impact, as the cooking process weakens/dilutes its flavour)
