Does anyone know the name of this Chinese candy?!

Question:

Does anyone know the name of this Chinese candy?

I had this candy in France, it was given to me by a Chinese friend. It comes in a roll like life savers, but the candy is thin round disc. It has the taste of sweet dried fruit and is almost chewy.

Answers: Its actual name is Haw Flakes.. The Haw fruit is a very popular Chinese fruit, with a taste very similar to Cranberry.. It is often used to make haw flake, fruit leather, fruit jelly, tea..

Just for confirmation, you can visit this website to find out more details...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/haw_flakes... Its a dried plum disk. You can find them in asian markets near the preserved seeds. Im sorry I dont know the exact name but if you have a Chinese Restaurant or China Town in your area, ask them for Mui(moo-ee). Mui is the overall word for dried or preserved plums and fruits. Describe to the person what you are looking for and they can help you better.
Good Luck It's candied plums. I'd say Haw Flakes too.
Good for your heart....
