Why people from korea or china or japan eat lots of sea food?!

Question:

Why people from korea or china or japan eat lots of sea food?

how can some one eat sea food every day?
don't they get tired of that?

Answers: Probably because of tradition and availability, especially in Japan, there isn't a lot of farmland there so a large portion of their diet is seafood. It is a staple. And seafood comprises of many different things, fish, prawns, crabs. So it is not just one particular item on the table all the time.

It is like eating rice everyday, or eating a salad everyday. The same reason people in Maine and Florida do. It is readily available. When you look at these places a good amount of their borders are coast lines. That means sea food would be easy to get and when you needed more it was right there and available. This began long before we are where we are today as a world with shipments of meat, fish, and so on being able to reach far inland areas. This has become a traditional diet for these groups. Now they seem to have grown use to it and enjoy it and keep eating it. Which is good I mean the average Japanese person outlives the average American or European by like 10 to 15 years. It basically goes back to when the settling of that area was happening. One could only eat what was available. Being so close to the ocean meant that sea food was the best source of food available. So it has become normal for them to eat seafood. Like people of the more inland areas would eat more things like apples, deer, rabbit, and so on. =) Think of it in a Geographical prospective . There in a area where that is there most abundant food source, compared to the U.S. where we have a lot more turf livestock and farmland. That's why is seems out of the norm for a lot of us. f.y.i. most people in 3rd word countries eat what the can get, they are not blessed to have as much choice a we do like in canads. i don't think there are to maany cowboys in cchina, nor the vas land there is in amerrcia or canada so they make do. Well, don't you ever get tired of beef, pork, or chicken? Japan is an island and South Korea a peninsula and China is quite omnivorous. Just different culture. Frankly, I am not capable of becoming tired of seafood. There is as much variety from the ocean as there is in all of Europe!

Japan and Korea are NOT 3rd world countries and China is no longer, at least no more than the US is. I think it's because it tastes good and the seafood from that area is good tasting. since it's good tasting, it's goooood. >.<
