Philipinos, please help!?!

Question:

Philipinos, please help!?

Hi, and thank you for stopping by. I am hispanic, and pregnant. I have been craving Panset, and loompias, but do not know how to make them, and there are no restaurants around that serve them. I have been looking for recipes on the internet and cannot find them either, so I was hoping maybe someone would share some of their wonderful Pinoy recipes with me so I can try and make some. Thank you agian, it's a really bad craving.

Answers: LUMPIA and PANCIT are classic FILIPINO dishes that are really easy to make.

For lumpia, all you need are eggroll wrappers. The filling is only ground pork, carrots, celery, onion, soy sauce, salt, pepper, and eggs. Roll them up, freeze them, then fry them while they are frozen.

For pancit, buy rice noodles. You can use any kind of meat (pork, chicken, beef, shrimp, etc). The other ingredients are carrots, celery, garlic, and cabbage. Sautee those off with a little bit of oil, then remove. Sautee the meat. You need to soak the rice noodles in hot water before cooking them. Once they are soaked, add them to the pan with a little bit of water and soy sauce. Mix together with the vegetables and meat, then serve.

I hoped this helped. Now you have me craving Filipino food. Source(s):
Filipino American and Culinary Student First of all, you have to correct your spelling. Philipinos is spelt as Filipinos, Panset is spelt as pancit and loompia is spelt as lumpia.

You can go to this link:http://allrecipes.com/recipe/filipino-lu...
It helps with cooking lumpia.

You can go to this link if you're going to make pansit (it's the same website:http://allrecipes.com/recipe/pancit/deta...

If this is not what you're looking for you can just ask your family and relatives or the filipinos that live aroung there. for pancit:
saute minced garlic until light brown add chopped onions until translucent..add diced pork season with salt and pepper..add a broth water and simmer..add shelled small shrimps, julienned green beans & carrots, shredded cabbage.. season with soy sauce and pepper... add softened vermincelli and season with soy sauce if needed... serve hot.. you may top with slices of hard boiled eggs, chopped spring onions and toasted garlic...

for lumpia:
in a bowl, mix together: lean ground pork, shelled and chopped shrimps, chopped onion, chopped carrots, chopped shitake mushrooms, chopped corriander, raw egg, flour (to bind the ingredients together). season with salt and pepper... add a few drops of sesame oil.
lay lumpia/spring roll wrapper (usually bought at filipino/asian stores). spoon mixture across the wrapper (diameter of mixture should be a little thicker than a pencil) then roll the wrapper, secure with cornstarch paste (dissolve cornstarch in water then simmer until thick, let cool). deep fry lumpia over medium heat until golden brown. dip in sweet & sour sauce..
dipping sauce:
in a sauce pan, mix together pineapple juice, water, sugar, salt and julienned ginger.. simmer for a few minutes then thicken with cornstarch slurry (cornstarch dissolved in water)... Hi, try clicking on www.Mama Sitas.ph or www. wowpinoy.ph
