Answers: Fried testicles of goat served with boiled garden snails on the side and plantains. I made a mexican soup....very authentic:

Shrimp meatballs in broth with nopales (cactus).
The balls were made of dried shrimp and pureed fresh shrimp. Strange to me.

It was okay...I am not crazy about seafood OR nopales, but the flavor wasn't bad. I made it for a guy I was dating. If I think a dish/food is strange or weird, I'm not even going to try it. breaded alligator, tastes like chicken Monkey brains in Thailand.Far too bad to describe. Cow intestines and cow tongue. They actually tasted quiet good but if your not raised on stuff like this you probably wouldn't care how delicious it is... you won't try it... But I did. Dog in Korea. It was stringy and slightly sweet, not bad, as long as you don't know what you're eating. When I was a chef I worked in various countrys and province in Canada, the 2 or 3 strangest were the Whale blubber in Iqaulit in Canada, the fried frog skin with rotten fish and chil dip in Thailand or the fishhead curry when I worked in Singapore.

I had some fried ants and water roaches in Vietnam and in Japan I had natto a fermented soya bean mixture that is slimey and very gummy, it looks like something you see when you have a head cold. i went to hongkong i ate street foods like different kind of crispy bugs and roaches in the market place.
i taste a fried frog and rice field mice in the philippines.
Looks like a caterpillar cuz its slimy and so many legs in thailand, u have to put lemon on it stir fried dog meat in northern China - it was 'different' green tea ice cream at a Japanese restaurant. It was very good.

Kippers in England and --Yuck!

Also in England -- pancakes with ice cream and syrup. No kidding! And it was pretty good.

In Paris from sidewalk vendor you can get a scoop of chocolate, a scoop of vanilla and a scoop of strawberry ice cream in a strange cone with 3 cups. Very good.
