Mexican bread/roll?!


Question: I'm trying to figure out the name of a kind of bread i had a mexican family reunion. it was a simple roll , about as long as a hot dog bun, and it had a pepper and cream cheese inside it. we had it for breakfast with menudo. what the heck is it called? please help

pan con crema y jalapenos. no real name just bread with cream and jalapenos. it's pretty good, i've had it before. you can find it at your local panaderia or bakery if you can't speak the lingo. and it ain't mexican, originated here in so. cal, like the burrito. not kidding either.
could it be bolillo thats the only one that comes to mind..
Bolillo, one of my favorites. Buy them at any Mexican bakery. They even sell them at Wall-Mart, but they aren't as good. They must of put the pepper and cream cheese in it. That sounds good.
well im thinking its bolillo like everyone else, but normal ones are just bread..Im guessing they stuffed it with pepper and cream cheese, or its something entirely different..ill look more into that and if i find something out ill add.
It must be the "bolillo", pronounce "bo-le-yo". Its similar to the french baguette, but just made smaller. You can eat it with anything. Even as sandwich bread.
