Question: The Nasi Padang in Zion Road is halal. The shop is located just opposite Great World City (the road leading to Orchard Road). Its in this 4 storey shophouse. Very nice food, variety! Parking isnt much of a problem, cos you can park at the mall or side of the road.

Mayang Sari Nasi Padang, at 54 Zion Road. the food is all halal. Parking can be tricky during lunch traffic.

Zion Road is famous for Nasi Padang (originally from Sumatra, this simply describes rice served with a variety of dishes, many of them spicy). This is thanks to Nasi Padang River Valley, a coffee shop that has reigned as one of the city's best Nasi Padang purveyors for decades. Very recently, however, a competitor (Mayang Sari) has popped up, right next door.
