Wash some chicken wings and let them drain. Heat your oven to 375.
Cut up some green onions, brown onions, garlic and bell pepper. Set aside. Put some water on and boil it.
Season your chicken with seasoning salt and black pepper. Put into an iron skillet or small roasting pan and cook until brown. You don't have to cover it but don't let chicken burn.
When the chicken is brown, add the cut up vegetables and hot water. Just use enough water to cover the chicken. If you cooked it in a skillet, then set the skillet of meat and veggies on top of the stove. Put on a top. Boil until the water has cooked down to about an eighth of an inch. Serve over white rice.
Trust me, this is delicious and is a Louisiana recipe from my mom.
