i dont know. im jap. im not so fond of it either.
i love both sushi and sashimi.. though sushi is more tasty.. i guess the reason why they hate sushi are..
first, they're not japanese.. they think they were bizarre foods, while actually they just don't hv culture connection between them n japanese.. just like the presenter of Bizarre Foods in Travel n living said..
second, maybe the fragrance of them made people got an allergy..
because the thought of raw fish grooses them out
i personally LOVE sushi but only IF theres nothing raw inside...people think that thats weird and maybe it is...but i do know that a lot of people just don't like raw fish. i really like sushi with egg, cucumber, ham and carrots. YUM!
If you know people who don't like the thought of eating raw fish, try chicken sushi. No, its not raw. You roll cooked breast meat with grated carrot, green onion, radish sprouts, asparagus and some hot Chinese mustard. Sushi eaters love it and you can get the non-sushi eaters to try it with ease. One taste and your hooked.
