Yeah, tacos are Mexican, so they'd have their own version in Spain, if you were able to find them at all.

Now, if you meant "What is a taco in Mexico", I'll answer that too. Normally they would be one or two small *soft* corn tortillas heated on a griddle with some kind of meat, possibly cheese, and sauce. If you really want to try one, you can maybe find a small authentic Mexican restaurant in your area.

Better yet, look for a "taco truck". You know how construction sites have mobile food service trucks? Sometimes you can find some that are Mexican food. Look for one that has a lot of Mexican people eating at it. That's a sign it's authentic. They will usually order 3-4 at a time, and have Mexican soda brands and other drinks as well.

They're very good, and safe to eat, but be careful what you order. Lengua is beef tongue...you probably wouldn't like it. Ask for pollo (chicken) or beef could be called "carne" or "carne asada"
A taco is a taco in Spain. Tacos are Mexican.

The closest equivalent in Spain would be an Empanada, but that is not even close to a taco.
A taco is a heel in Spain... as in the heel on your shoe.
