How can i make my food taste like Chinese food bought at the take away shop??!

Question: i say 'take away' shop because i know the traditional Chinese food is very different from what they serve us, which i dont want.. i want the take away taste.

i dont want to buy it, well because i dont trust take away places..
i normally buy Specail Fried rice, which i want to make at home.. i know many places give it a different name so i will tell you whats in it: fried rice, egg, pork, chicken, peas and prawns... sooo tasty

Add Soy Sauce, salt, pepper and Oyster Sauce. (Oyster Sauce & Soy Sauce is the secret)
A lot of take out Chinese places add MSG (monosodium glutemate) to their food for flavoring. You can get it at Asian food marts. Also, when you make fried rice, use real butter and some peanut oil (to keep the butter from burning). Day old rice helps too. Try stir frying all the ingredients in a wok on medium high heat and don't scramble the egg first, just crack it over the rice as its cooking and stir away.
Good for you wanting to be a better cook. The secret to ALL good authentic cooking (no matter what culture) is to understand the kinds of ingredients used & how exactly they are used in a particular type of cooking.

So, here are a few tips to help improve your homemade fried rice. Fried rice is a universally great way of using up your leftovers. That's the reason the Chinese made it, to do exactly that.

1. Use pre-cooked or day old white rice. You can just use leftover rice from the day before. It will be great because most of the moisture will be gone and the consistency of the rice will be drier.
2. Fry the egg up like you are making an omlet. Scramble the egg, pour it into a well oiled pan and let it brown evenly. The browning adds to the flavor of the fried rice. Slice up the sheets of fried egg and add to the hot rice. Do not just stir in the scrambled egg into the hot rice.
3.When you are completely finished adding in all of your ingredients to the fried rice, drizzle about 1 tsp. of toasted sesame oil over it and mix it in thoroughly. That gives it a great aroma and adds to the flavor. Sesame oil is an oil used for flavoring NOT cooking/frying as it burns easliy.

Enjoy and happy cooking.
Need to follow them to where they gather their "road kill." Then, you will have the same source.
