Why doesnt fried ice cream melt when its fried?!

Question: because the fried outer coating acts as an insulator and keeps the outside temperature from getting to the inside temperature. if you want to try this yourself make up a batch of merangue and coat an ice cream ball with it. place it in the oven and the ice cream should stay cold and solid.

because the icecream is battered and cooled before its is fried therefore preventing it from melting
because it is frozen very hard before it is coated and droped into hot oil only for a few seconds
coz' it's covered with flour and bread crumbs and it's fried's so quickly where the temperature doe'snt meet the frozen temp.of the ice.
same thing happens when you fry a chocolate bar in batter ,apparently a snack in scotland
