They're not that bad for you - fat is not necessarily bad!

They are a fantastic source of fibre, and most of us don't get enough. They have iron, folate and magnesium, as well as a little bit of protein. They taste fantastic.

Just like anything, falafels are great as long as you don't binge on them. Certainly better for you than chips or cookies.

It has a bit of protein..
Good for vegetarians..
Tastes better than tofu..
Low in fat..
Low in calories..

Its chickpeas and fava beans and spices.
So, it is good for you.
Beans have fiber protein carbs etc....
But it is fried. So it probably isnt super good for you. But its ok.

Good with tubbulah in a pita- but they give me heartburn.

A good source of protein and iron but they can be high in fat because they are deep fried.

I've also had versions that included spinach. They tasted better than I had expected.
