In India, most people drink water with their meals.

Alcohol: Indian beers, Gewertztraminers pair well or any wine you enjoy will be fine.

Yogurt based drinks like chaas or fruit drinks (mango panna, limbu serbaat), if it's a special occasion (gulab pani or rose water).... work well.

hot tea, hot coffee, lassi which is a yogurt drink...sweet or salty, mango lassi, mango milkshake, jaljeera (tangy-salty drink), thandai (cool, minty, refreshing drink), fresh lime juice, OJ, fine wines that go well with indian food are zinfandel, shiraz, chardonnay...
