I'm sorry to hear that you had a bad experiance. Indian food is great! But Salty, and Spicy do not go together expecially if it was alot. So drink so milk (plain or chocolate) and just for a day or so stay away from really spicy items. The chefs probably forgot adding a balancing item(lemon, yogurt, a tad bit of sugar etc.) to make the dish perfect. If this burning continues I would call your doctor, and then call the restaurant too, & ask what was in the dish explain your symtoms they might be able to help.

I'm glad that you like Indian food.

When this happens next time, you can use Lemon to neutralize the salt and spice.

tikka is good but to spicy and salty isnt good the same thing happens to me i bet they mixed the batter up with too much salt and to much of spices and sometimes if its really busy people do that well evrybody makes mistakes

So sorry to hear about your negative experience. Do drink alot of buttermilk, it will soothe and coat your throat and also neutralize the spices.

It looks like the restaurant forgot to balance the food: meaning they left out the sour or acidic component (lemon juice, amchoor, tamarind, yogurt...). That tones down the spice and adds the balance that seems to be missing.
