Where can I buy Matzo and Matzo Meal near San Antonio TX?!
Answers: I have been trying to find Jewish food near San Antonio TX where we moved to over a year ago. Since I haven't been able to find a Jewish Deli, I thought I could make it at home. I have been looking for Matzo and Matzo meal with no luck so far. I sure would like to also find kosher corned beef, etc.
Have you tried the HEB chain? (think that's what it's called)
We shopped there when in that area last year and did find a small section with Matzo and gefilte fish. Find one of the bigger stores. Did discover that gefilte fish tastes awesome with their fresh salsa instead of horseradish! Loved San Antonio .............Also, their gas is less expensive than regular stations ...........
Dont know the area but you can always substitute bread crumbs for most recipes
More than likely...your local grocery store. Ethnic items are carried by most chains. You could also order it on line.
I have done this and it really works!
Contact the largest chain grocer in town.
Ask the manager to carry the matzoh products for you.
The chains are rather greedy and really want you to spend money at their store.
Makes sense to me.
