What is served at a tradtional Mexican holiday meal.?!

Question: Depends on the Holiday.

Day of the Dead - November 2. Since it commemorates the dear departed, the usual fare is whatever the dead person liked. Sugar skulls for the kids and Bread of the Dead, a kind of sweet bread which is popular as well.

November 20, Mexican Revolution Day - well, plenty of food and drink.

Christmas Eve - Things get a little fancier and people opt for tamales, roast leg of pig, romeritos, a kind of vegetable. Bu?uelos, a kind of sweet breat, etc. In Northern Mexico the American influence is more noticeable and some families will go for a turkey dinner.

Mexicans will prepare something special for their Holidays. Special because of the amount of work involved to prepare it and because of the price. It depends on the region as well, so the variety is endless.
