When you say 'wonton' are you talking about wonton skins (which can be dusted with powdered sugar) or are you talking about 'filled wontons'?

If you are talking about sweet 'filled wontons', here's a good recipe.

2 (8 oz.) soft cream cheese
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. vanilla

Mix filling ingredients together until smooth and proceed to the next step.

1. Place a heaped teaspoon of the mixture in the centre of a won ton wrapper. Brush the edges lightly with water.
2. Cover with another won ton wrapper at an angle, so that the wrappers make a star shape.
3. Press with your fingers as close to the filling as possible. Repeat with the remaining ingredients. To make the job quicker have a "production line" of ten or so won tons lined up that you fill, cover and seal.
4. Put the filled won tons on a tray lined with baking paper. Make sure they don't touch as they stick to each other.
5. Heat oil in a large pan or wok until moderately hot. Add the won tons in small batches and fry for 2 minutes or until crisp and golden.
6. Drain on paper towels.
7. Dust with icing sugar before serving.

Sugar?

Adding sugar...its that simple.

yes, just add sugar, or you can always make a simple syrup, boil a cup of water, then add 2 cups of sugar, at this to your wonton mix, that will work really well,

can't be sure but the pork might be soaked in sweet and sour over night

In the meat fillings, add finely minced water chestnuts (along with some juice while cutting ) and carrots.

It makes the wontons crunchy and sweet.

No, u cant add sugar into the fillings!
