Is Chinese food good reheated (chicken fried rice with broccoli and mushrooms}?!

Question: I generally don't like leftovers, but today only half of the food I ordered earlier this evening. So I decided to put it in the refrigerator and eat it tomorrow.

Yes, chinese food is good if you reheat it, especially if it isn't crispy. The wetter stuff, all of the seasoning will really soak into the meat and veggies and the flavor will be great.

With the fried rice, make sure to cover it to keep moisture in a maybe dabble a little water on it to moisten it.

Seriously some of the best reheated. Be careful though not to burn the rice. Doesn't take long to reheat.

Should be pretty good even though it wont be as good as the first time around.
Chinese food microwaves pretty well, now french fries, that doesnt hold up so well.

Yes...if you want to liven it up later, put it in a tiny amount of oil in a medium-high preheated skillet and re-fry it.

It is okay but my little trick is to put a little water in the bowl when I reaheat (maybe 2 tbls) seems to make it moister and heats the rice better.

hmm depends on how you reheat it and what you like. I say give it a try and if it does not taste good, oh well! Then your problem is solved and you'll know for next time whether you like it or not. :]

veg, eg mushroom dont reheat well cos they release water!

This is OK as long as it wasn't at room temp for i think its 2hrs. it can only be reheated once then it is not good to eat. That's food safety rules in Australia it may be different where you are. believe it or not rice is one of the worst foods for food poisoning

It is...as long as you eat it the next day, it should be good, and safe.

the rice will be a little crushy but i like it cuz it still tastes good but the broccoli and mushrooms will be the same as if u get it frozen at the store so yeah

should be ok. just not as tasty.

Yes!
Chinese food happens to taste a lot better reheated then most leftovers, in my opinion.
Just don't overheat it because the rice can get dried out.

Chinese food leftovers, whether reheated or cold, makes a great meal or late night snack.

Yes, it's fine.

Tests show its not actually good re heated it increases more MSG which is found in most Chinese foods and isnt good if you warm it up in a plastic container and covered with glad wrap. So i think best thing if you super hungry warm it up in a bowl =D
