Do herbs and spices have any nutritional value?!


Question: Depends what you mean by nutritional value... very little in terms of calories, proteins etc but many are reputed to aid digestion especially peppermint and fennel:

Spices not really. But herbs, being green, contain vitamins. However, usually we eat herbs as a garnish or an addition to dishes so we do not get that much nutritional benefit.

They are not used in quantities big enough to be significant.
