Answers: How much would a mexican meal cost in mexico in pesos?

I've been there every year since i was born!!! but i was born in the United States of course. Anyway back to the topic. 10 pesos would be $1 and 100 pesos would be 10 dollars so if you were planing on buying lets say a big mac meal from mcdonalds which is about $5. a regular mcdonalds meal would be 50 pesos. trust me i have expirience :)

Depends on where in the country you are, what type of restaurant etc.

It depends on where you are in Mexico and what kind of restaurant you're at. If you are going to a touristy area such as Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta, Playa Del Carmen, Cozumel, Acapulco or any other big tourist area you will pay more. You can find little restaurants off the beaten path that will have cheaper food. Ask the locals, they'll tell you where to go. I don't know what the peso is valued at right now but I would plan to spend at least $10 US per person, if not more, unless you're adventurous and eat food from a street vendor or at a restaurant that's not in the main tourist area of whatever town you are going to. Keep in mind that just like in the US you can find cheap restaurants and expensive restaurants. Try going to www.tripadvisor.com and asking on the board there for the area you are traveling to.

well i went to mexico and it cost me to eat a meal with my fiance 18 pesos which averaged about $6 or give or take a little, they kinda round there. It is so cheap you could live a whoile year off of $1,000.no crap.

Well it all depends as everybody say but here in Mexico City you can have a great meal (soup, rice, main, flavored water) for only 28 pesos = 2.80 dollars Thats in a place that we know as "Cocina economica" but if you go out for lunch to any Cafeteria you would pay arround 80 pesos 8 dollars or dinner in "La Condesa" would be arround 400 pesos 40 dollars per person

STICK TO THE UN-AMERICANIZED-ZONES AND YOU CAN EAT FOR UNDER 2-BUCKS PER PERSON !

It depends on the geographical zone and kind of restaurant. In Mexico City you can find street vendors selling 5 tacos for 10 pesos, home style food ranging from 25-100 pesos or five star restaurants where prices may reach 250 or more for an entree.

Here you can look for restaurants by price range, and some of the restaurants even have detailed menus: www.queremoscomer.com

Hope this helps
