Does anyone know about this shot made from sake in a sushi resturaunt?!

Question: At a sushi restaurant the chef made us a crazy shot. I cant remember all the ingredients, but I know it contained quail eggs, (it wasn't just a quail egg shooter, though) green onions, wasabe, sarachi, soy sauce and sake. The last ingredient was especially weird. It was a Japanese potato that was ground into something almost pudding like. It was very strange but very good. Has anyone seen a shot like this or know what it could be?
