Help! I just purchased fresh Indian karella. How should it be prepared?!

Question: I'm making a chicken curry tomorrow and would like to incorporate it into the dish. Any recipes or tips? Thanks

Indian karela is very very bitter, are you absolutely sure you want to add it to your chicken curry? Usually karela is prepared as a separate veg dish by itself, it's an acquired taste (extremely bitter, like taking medicine). But I did find a recipe for KARELA CHICKEN:

It is recommended that you slice the karela into rounds and soak it in salted water (3x) to reduce the bitterness, I personally dont think even this helps!
