What kind of sushi would I like?!

Question: I am a big fan of Spicy Tuna Roll and Shrimp Tempura roll. Is there any others that I would like considering these two are my favs?

I am a former chef and I to like those you mentioned, have you tried California roll, an Maki types (Rolled) I like Tamago the egg omellete one, grilled eel with the sweet sauce is nice, if your not into ultra raw, try the Edo style which is the smaller ones on rice, there are some good place that make a rice ball type with all the fixing mixed in and made into a ball shape.

I do not eat as much as I used to, when I worked for a Canadian hotel chain and was posted in Tokyo for 9 months I had alot of very traditional one, some freah from the tank and even tried the dreaded "Fugu".

The only sushi I like is "very well done."

Give me a Filet-O-Fish any day!

I say you should not try sushi try chicken terriaki it AMAZING!

red snapper, eel

California tuna roll

Try sashimi...maybe a shrimp one for you to begin with..its just fish and sauce...cut out the middle man(rice)!!! :) Great Luck!!!

One of my favorites is the BBQ eel sushi - I'd try that since you like seafood.

sashimi is best.
Tomago is good, too.

Since you don't seem to be too timid about raw fish, try Tekka maki (not spicy tuna but dip in wasabi spiced soy sauce) kani maki, temaki sushi (various tyles, some with fruit) unagi (eel)
Rally, the best thing to do is go to a real japanese restaurant (read not a american japanese chain restaurant)with a real japanese sushi chef an ask him to give you a sampling of the various sushis which may or may not be on the menu. Tell him what your limitations are and trust me, he will be more than happy to show off his skills (but be warned.. may cost you extra)

try a spider roll. fried soft-shelled crab

its really good

crunchy roll--mmm soo good (:

Have you ever tried rainbow trout sushi? mmmm Delicious
