Question: Our Australian are visiting here in America .

Answers: Our Australian are visiting here in America .

Australia is a multicultural society meaning we enjoy a wide range of international foods including American food.
However, If you really want us to miss home, throw some steak and sausage on the barbeque, treat us to a meat pie with a beer or a glass of Cola with Bundaberg Rum. I actually prefer international cuisine myself...

we have a variety of foods just depends on where yuo are visiting ;]]

vegamite, promite, tea, biscuts, fish, chips, bbq, thats all i can think of off the top of my head

I love Kangaroo. It's so nice and tender.

We have some of the most admired, fresh produce by other countries around the world. We are very lucky. We also have a diversity of cultures which enable us to try, then cook for ourselves many different dishes, therefore a lot of Aussies will try anything. :-)

australia was only colonised by the british around 200 years ago.

as such, we don't have a national dish.

typical dinners during the week would be meat and three veg, type thing. nothing fancy (as if any working families have time to cook anymore!!)

barbecues are still pretty popular too. sausages and steaks (no, NOT shrimp) go down pretty well, along with a green salad and a potato salad.
