What's the best food to order in a Japanese resraurant?!
Answers: So far, I've tried tempura shrimp, yakisoba and california maki.
I love to order all the different types of noodles they offer. I like the cold soba noodles with vegetables. If they have fried calamari and tofu order these items. And you can never go wrong with teriyaki chicken.

I love udon soup...but depends on the restaurant though.. You should try the differents types of sushi.
Tobiko, anykind of Ramen or Udon, Beef Donburi
Sashimi and sushi are my very favorites.
Order the most interesting sushi rolls you can. But make sure to order Ikura (salmon eggs) as Sashimi and you can put some on each bite. It's the best!

But if your restuarant does not have a good shushi chef or market fresh ingredients, order other items.
Beside sushi and sashimi, try japanese curry rice with chicken katsu,gyoza (japanese dumpling),beef yakiniku , teriyaki,unagi (grilled eel) and sukiyaki
Ok, I am Vegan so it limits me, but I LOVE going to Japanese restraunts for edamame. vegetable tempura, avacado rolls and vegetable rolls. YUM!!!!!!
Beef yakiniku is the best and their shredded cucumber salad
mmmm tuna tataki as an appetizer....absolutely fabulous!
