Answers: These small sweet yellow cakes that are fit in your hand. They have scalloped edges that are kind of toasty. They are such a yummy comfort food I remember from my childhood, and I'd like to find them somewhere (but first I need to know what they're called).

ah!..simbang gabi made me remember this type of comfort food..it's called bibingka! they're yellow, with salted eggs at the top and sprinkled with coconut and cooked on a banana leaves...look it up on the net to find various recipes on making this one..still nothing beats the authenticity of eating this in the philippines during holiday season!..
